Greetings, I am Deaneer Franklin a 25 year old U-N-L-V Senior. I was born and raised in Las Vegas,Nevada; with a single parent upbringing. I am a student journalist, daughter,auntie,caregiver and stylist. I attended all public schools during my adolescence years where I participated in sports , school programs i.e. track and field(cross country), basketball,peer mediation and honor society. I grew up taking strong interest in basketball , which I played for 7 years including summer league teams. After my high school graduation June 2013 Senior year, I dedicated myself to learn about the media field.  My dream was and still is to become an anchor, reporter, or work behind the scenes. If that fails , I plan to launch my own vlog channel and continue with my skills in cosmetology. Whichever occurs first, my goal is to be my own boss. I will take the future opportunities given to me wholeheartedly as if  they are once in the lifetime chances.With my ambitious attitude and driven soul  for speaking on almost every topic, Journalism and Media is the field for me; no second guessing!

Currently I am attending the University of Nevada Las Vegas, wrapping up my internship with 91.5 KUNV-HD2 . I am expected to graduate May 16th, 2020 Spring semester. My time with the radio station taught me more about Jazz music,artists, In-taking music and logging it, UNLV Baseball studio operator, under writings and database entry. My previous years at UNLV have given me the pleasure of studying Studio G. The course taught me editing, producing, graphics, weather,prompter,interviewing,reporting and iNews. The time spent learning each of these techniques in class and out of class has helped me reach the success I dreamed of in my education. I have become braver with my communication and time beause of the radio station.Grind Only Loans Denied is my lifestyle. If I want it, I have to GRIND and get it. No hand outs or short cuts!  There is no limit or anyone stopping my success, but myself... if I let me!
